Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Lane County, Oregon. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Six days a week, one day off.
