Gtaw welder — Gonzales County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Gonzales County, Texas. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE Full-time with occasional weekends.
