Safety officer — Cumberland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Cumberland County, Virginia. The job is at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
