Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Chanchaga, Niger State. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Your main tasks: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Six days a week, one day off.
