Pressman — Ifelodun

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Ifelodun, Kwara State. You will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
