Join our team: we are hiring an oven operator in Cobb County, Georgia. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Part-time with flexible hours.
