Butcher — Ijebu Ode

Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Your main tasks: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
