Immediate opening: ladle pourer (Imo State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Ihitte/Uboma, Imo State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
