Backhoe operator • Bond County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Bond County, Illinois. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
