Machine operator (earthworks) • Juniata County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Juniata County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence 5+ years on the tools preferred.
