Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Antelope County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient You should have: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
