Now hiring: we are hiring a production operative in Wayne County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On a typical shift you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
