Great opportunity: we are hiring a godown forklift operator in Bristol County, Rhode Island. The job is at a freight and logistics depot. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety The role involves shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; assist with stock takes and cycle counting. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
