The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
