Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Queens County, New York. Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain On the job you will handle: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
