Floor and wall tile fitter — Albasu

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Albasu, Kano State. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. The role involves mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
