Heavy equipment operator wanted in Cherokee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Cherokee County, Iowa. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You should have: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
