Counter butcher — Sterling County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Sterling County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
