Urgent requirement: site carpenter (Manipur)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in Tengnoupal, Manipur. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings On the job you will handle: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. ₹13,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
