Shuttering carpenter wanted in McHenry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in McHenry County, Illinois. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Meals and transport allowance provided.
