Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Gbako, Niger State. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day to day you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer ₦185,000 per month plus benefits.
