Machine operator (earthworks) — Maricopa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Maricopa County, Arizona. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Your main tasks: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
