Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Walton County, Florida. The job is at a landscaping company. The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
