We are looking for able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through; own basic hand tools and PPE; physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
