Vacancy available: we are hiring a captain waiter in Nelson County, Virginia. The job is in a coffee shop. The role involves: • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu Requirements: • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
