Join our team: estate gardener (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an estate gardener in Madison County, Virginia. You will be based in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
