Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Macoupin County, Illinois. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
