You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Rotating shifts. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
