Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Davis County, Utah. You will work on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
