Digger driver • Dutchess County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a digger driver in Dutchess County, New York. The job is at a road and highway construction project. You should have: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Overtime paid at a premium rate.
