Restoration bricklayer — Lane County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Lane County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $19 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
