Now hiring: excavator operator (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Johnson County, Kansas. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. You will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
