Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Dallas County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Dallas County, Texas. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances 5+ years on the tools preferred.
