Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Kibiya, Kano State. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone Rotating shifts.
