Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Kingman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Kingman County, Kansas. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs On the job you will handle: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
