Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Benton County, Oregon. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 2+ years on the tools preferred.
