Foundry operative • Daura, Katsina State

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Daura, Katsina State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
