Milling machinist — Stephens County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Stephens County, Texas. You will work at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Part-time with flexible hours.
