Tandoor cook — Floyd County

Join our team: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Floyd County, Virginia. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. The role involves plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; prepare the mise en place before each service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred.
