Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Paulding County, Ohio. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
