Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Dala, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
