Immediate opening: we are hiring a packing operative in Jackson County, Oregon. The job is in a food packaging factory. You will apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack; stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch; count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton; seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue; weigh and portion products before bagging; record production counts on the shift sheet. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
