Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Pasco County, Florida. The job is at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
