Counter butcher — Ijebu North East

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Ijebu North East, Ogun State. The job is in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
