What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day The role involves: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Overtime paid at a premium rate.
