Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Emuoha, Rivers State. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On a typical shift you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses.
