Nursery worker wanted in Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a nursery worker in Jackson County, Alabama. You will work in a residential garden complex. On a typical shift you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Six days a week, one day off.
