Hydraulic crane operator — Garum Mallam

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Garum Mallam, Kano State. You will work on a busy construction site. Day to day you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
