The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate Meals and transport allowance provided.
