Offshore rigger — Kajuru

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Kajuru, Kaduna State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around ₦135,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
